Tempting even with the variation of a blown HG, but his aesthetic description of the car leads me to think that in person it’s probably not so shiny. Worth a look in person though.

If there’s oil in the coolant or vice versa, most likely it is a blown headgasket. Is a 944 with a blown headgasket a Nice Price to you?
Not to me unless I wanted a hobby learning how to replace the headgasket on a 944.
With a car like this, it’s better to spend the extra money to find one in good condition. A “cheap” Euro car like a Porsche can be one of the most expensive cars you’ll own.

“Basically when this gasket goes bad it allows oil into the coolant and possibly coolant into the oil, which is obviously not good” do you like milkshakes? Cause this how you get milkshakes.
If everything else is solid LS swap it. Or go full Oppo and hellcat swap it.. then paint it brown.. then make it into a wagon. I say NP

The headgasket should make you run away immediately. But it seems like the body is in terrible shape, though he hides it well in the pics. It looks like it was in a bad front-end collision. Look at how far in the bumper is bashed in on the driver’s side. One of the fog lights is destroyed, the bumper cover actually looks misshapen, and the bottom of the bumper is scraped to hell. You can also see rust on the rear quarters.
I wouldn’t bother to find out how horrible it is in real life.

That gouge in front of the rear wheel is probably related to the front end chin spoiler damage, I’m guessing a fairly square hit on a curb either at speed, or while drunk with a slow reaction time. Hooning or drunk.. you’ll know when they answer the door. The bumper damage is a seperate incident, so yeah I’d follow up out of curiosity, maybe a debacherous night on the town, but don’t drive that Porsche home no matter how much free coke he gives you.
